Biography
Since 2002, Yong Tae Kwon has been working as a faculty member of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of University of Pittsburgh. In 2010, he got a dual appointment at Seoul National University College of Medicine. He is currently Director of Protein Metabolism Medical Research Center of Seoul National University. His research focuses on protein degradation in the field of biochemistry, in particular a proteolytic pathway called the N-end rule pathway. Over the course of he published search papers in many high-end journals, including Nat Cell Biology, Cell, Science, Nature Genetic, Proc Natl Acad Sci, Nat Rev Mol Cell Biol, Nat Struc Mol Biol, and Ann Rev Biochem.
Research Interest
